NV Doyard Vendémiaire 1er Cru Blanc de Blancs

We are very proud to announce the return of Champagne Doyard to our shores. For over a decade City Wine Shop has been the sole importer of Champagne Doyard and it’s become an absolute staple for us and a great pleasure to share it with you all. Based in and around the village of Vertus within the Côte des Blancs. The Doyard family have been growing grapes for 12 generations and have been making wine under the Doyard label for 4. The family grow and handle mostly Chardonnay grapes with a small amount of Pinot Noir with average vine age being 40 years. 

Vendémiaire staple in the City Wine Shop wine offering - you may remember enjoying a glass with us over the years. It has an extremely balanced palate that is chalky and citrus driven - the perfect aperitif. Made with 100% Chardonnay making this one of the best value Blanc de Blancs we’ve seen.
