When owners Josh Brisbane and Con Christopoulos opened the doors of the City Wine Shop in 2004, it was one of the first of its kind in Melbourne. Adopting the European ‘enoteca’ style of dining, being both a bottle shop and wine bar. Offering bottle shop prices, plus $20 corkage to drink in.
In recent years we teamed up with our sibling restaurant next door, The European to offer an amalgamation of menus with City Wine Shop classics like the chicken schnitzel and polenta chips or European classic, spaghetti marinara. Our food also comes with a range of seasonal dishes inspired by European cuisine.
