NV Monmosseau ‘Etoile’ Brut

Established in 1886, Monmousseau is not only a producer with an elaborate history but also a major tourism point for the region of Touraine. Their 15 kilometres of underground caves, dug out of the local limestone, provide ideal conditions for the wines, both still and sparkling. 70% Chenin Blanc and 30% Chardonnay and 18 months on lees, this wine strikes an incredible balance between freshness and texture. Aromas of green apple, peach, and jasmine flowers are equally backed by a toasty, biscuit-like density.
