Nikka Miyagikyo Japanese Whisky

This NAS (non-age statement) single malt bottling from the Miyagikyo distillery in the mid-north east of Japan is very complex.

Nuts and kelp with some herbaceous lift and treacle like richness. There’s a wealth of sweet spices and black pepper on the finish, definitely one to ponder.
