2022 Fuedi Bizantini ‘Passofino’ Montepulciano d’Abbruzzo

Montepulciano d’abruzzo is one of the DOCs of Italy that has transcended its region and Variety. The DOC is located in Valle Peligna in the region of Abruzzo and is the native home of the Montepulciano Grape, the wines must contain at least 85% Montepulciano and an alcohol of 12% or higher to be labeled as Montepulciano d’Abruzzo. Feudi Bizantini is a small group of Growers, Vignerons, and wine lovers that are committed to displaying the best of their Region, with the winery in located in the historical Byzantine town of Crecchio. The 2020 ‘Passofino’ is a pure expression, fermented and aged wholly in stainless steel. Displaying rich, fleshy flavours of Black Cherry, Blueberry, Acacia, and Herbal Spice.
