NV Lini 910 Lambrusco Rosso IGT Labrusca
The Lini Winery has always distinguished itself with its range of Lambrusco and has put in years of hard work, research, and oenological trials to develop the use of the Metodo Classico (as used in the production in Champagne) for Lambrusco.
It was thanks to this wine, that in 2015 Lini was nominated as one of Opera Wine’s 100 Greatest Producers by Wine Spectator. The Lini Winery is still a family business and now, its fourth generation is proud and committed to presenting its new generation Lambrusco to the world.
Labrusca was the ancient name for Lambrucso. This is made from 85% Salamino and 15% Ancellotta using the Charmat method for a long and slow fermentation lasting 3-4 months. This method produces a fine and gentle fizz, more like sparkling water, that makes it so delicious with a variety of food. Dark red to black, there are notes of dark berry and cherry fruit with fruitcake, spice, and chocolate, the palate dry and refreshing.
