2021 La Guardiense Fiano Sannio

This classic example of Fiano is produced by La Guardiense; one of the largest cooperative wineries in Italy. With over 1000 growers looking after 2000 hectares of vines, located in the sub region of Sannio which sits in the larger region of Benevento. A volcanic region with a distinct microclimate, suited to producing cool climate expressions of classic Italian varietals like Aglianico, Falanghina and Greco. This is a very pure example of Fiano, bright and fresh – jam packed with citrus pith, white stone fruit and little smacks of ginger and white florals.
