2021 Chalmers Col Fondo

What is Col Fondo you say? Unfiltered sparkling wine, so expect some fine lees left in the bottle. Second fermentation occurs in bottle, just like champagne but unlike pet-nat. The wine is bright and chalky with a delicate fizz. Flavours of ruby grapefruit, pale red fruit and a savoury finish. Made by the talented Chalmers sisters with 100% aglianico from their Heathcote vineyard.
