2024 Stift Göettweig ‘Messwein’ Grüner Veltliner

If there’s one thing we can thank religion for, it’s monks that know how to grow grapes. Grown on a 1000-year-old monastery in Kremstal, Austria, this Messwein (Alter Wine) can only be produced with permission from the Bishop, it must be light, natural and unaltered. This crisp Gruner is raised entirely in stainless steel, and with all of it’s lemon zest, fresh apple and pepper spice charm, this wine falls into a choir-like harmony.
