2024 Château Saint-Esprit ‘Céleste’ Rosé

The winemaking is classic for Provence style rosés, the aim is to preserve primary fruit, acidity and freshness. The fruit is harvested in the early morning, fully destemmed and lightly pressed prior to a cool fermentation in stainless steel, with malo blocked to retain the lip-smacking acidity.

The Celeste opens with an intense minerality underpinned by the classic Provençal notes of delicate red berries and tree blossom. The palate is round, refreshing and balanced – harmonious combining of ripe peach, wild strawberry, citrus zest and sea spray minerality. Bone-dry with bright sustained acidity, perfect for a sunny day.
