2023 Wittmann 100 Hügel Riesling Trocken

Hailing from one of the lesser-known wine regions of Germany, the Wittmann family has been producing wines in the Rheinhessen since the 17th century. Nestled in the center of Germany’s wine regions, Phillip Wittmann crafts fine-boned, dry Riesling from organic and biodynamic vineyards. The 100 Hugel (100 Hills) Riesling is drawn from multiple parcels on the hills surrounding Phillip’s hometown Westhofen. Flavours of apples, ripe citrus, and tart Stone fruit. Acid and minerality hold tension here, an easy-drinking Riesling that we should be a staple at home.
