Yalumba, St Hallett, Charles Melton, Chateau Tanunda, Tatachilla, Chapoutier,  Domaine du Mandeville,  Azamor, Nautilus…. Tim Smith’s wine making career spans 20 years and four major wine making countries, so there’s no doubt in his winemaking prowess.  This Barossa blend is a slight deviation from the traditional ‘GSM’ blend; here mataro sets the main stage – with grenache and shiraz playing the second fiddle.  The result is a spicy and floral palate, with a ferrous, black tinged mineral character from the Mataro.
