2022 Fleet Lichen Syrah

We really can’t say enough about the wines of Lisa and Justin Jenkins here at City Wine Shop – though the releases are often small and, yes, fleeting, they toe the line between drinkability and thinkability, and now more than ever their wines are receiving the acclaim they so thoroughly deserve.

Though their home base lies down in South Gippsland, here they’re picking from 31-year-old vines in the Yarra Valley’s Seville hill, and this Syrah is fresh, vibrant and just a little bit reminiscent of lifted Cru Beaujolais – red flowers, chewy purple fruits, heady spices… typically moreish.
