2022 Deep Woods Estate Chardonnay

What a gem of a wine! The City Wine Shop team sat down to taste some potential Chardonnays for this pack completely blind. No producer bias here only the best stands out and Maestro Julian Langworthy strikes out again. We’re a bit smitten with Mr. Langworthy; chief winemaker of Deep Woods Estate, Dalwhinnie and his side project Nocturne Estate, its more than easy to see why Deep Woods was labeled Australia’s best value winery by the 2023 Halliday Wine companion awards.
