2021 Fio ‘Fabelhaft’ Trocken Riesling

The Mosel is one of the famous homes of Riesling, both ancient and modern, with their rich slate soils imparting a crystalline nature to the wines. Fabel haft – meaning both ‘fabulous’ and ‘containing fables’ – is the perfect descriptor for this Riesling. Fio wines helmed by Jean Fischer and David Rayer, making natural and pure Riesling from old vines and steep slopes. This wine is a shining golden yellow, ripe apples, and juicy peaches with texture and acidity to boot.
