2022 Limus Quince Cider

Cider might not be everyone’s first choice but we think this one definitely deserves a spot on your fridge! Litmus, a family-run winery in South Australia’s, Mt Gambier, has done a cracking job making a wine alternative for when you fancy something different and refreshing.

'Golden Delicious' and 'Granny Smith' apples are sourced from trees on their organic vineyards and quince from a neighboring property. The fruit was crushed and co-fermented for 12 months in old barrels then carbonated with the next year’s fermenting juice. Dry, delicate yet textured with a subtle quince flavour, this is a great aperitif but also an amazing match for cheese at the end of a meal, especially a good cheddar!
