2021 Artomaña Txakolina 'Xarmant' Txakoli

Situated in the picturesque Basque village of Artomaña, resting on the banks of its eponymous river are the family vineyards and winery of Artomaña Txakolina. The estate is a forty-minute drive south of Bilbao in the Arabako Txaolina DO, which is the warmest and furthest inland of the three Txakoli regions. This is a lifted, zippy aromatic wine; think citrus, green apple, white floral notes, and a slight chalky edge. Singing notes of fresh pear, crunchy apple, and green herbs. All of this citrusy, deliciously supple fruit sensation.

A local Basque varietal mix of Hondarrabi Zuri (70%) with equal parts of Izkiriota, Izkiriota Ttippia, and Hondarrabi Zuri Zerratia.
