2018 Bellwether Ant Series Cabernet

Sue Bell is the winemaker and brain behind Bellwether. First established in 2008, Sue and her business partner Andrew Rennie bought an old shearing shed in Coonawarra as their base to run their business. They have an extensive produce garden, host events and tastings and also have some glamping tents for guests to stay in. The property and label is run and managed with utmost passion and love for the land. The fruit was hand picked, introduced to whole bunch fermentation, natural yeast and old oak maturation. Combined with finely etched tannins, results in a deliciously earthy, slightly herbal, cocoa powder finish. Full bodied and rich without being over the top.
