2021 Anti-Hero Pinot Meunier

Heroes Vineyard and Winery in the Otways is a small, family run, organic vineyard led by James Thomas. The ‘Anti-Hero’ label is reserved for wines made at the same winery by James but with fruit bought from other like minded growers around the Geelong region. Pinot meunier was first made famous for being one of the three main varieties used in the making of Champagne. However we now see it as a single variety from time to time, offering an alternative to pinot noir or gamay drinkers. While it’s quite light in colour, it has plenty to offer in terms of aromatics and flavour.
