2018 Thibault Liger-Belair Moulin-à-vent Les Vieilles Vignes

Moulin-à-vent VV could be considered the flagship wine of the estate as it accounts for 50% of the domaines productions. It is made from 100% Gamay from 9 different parcels surrounding the Moulin-à-vent hill, the vine ages range from 60-100 years old. The fruit is fermented with 40% whole clusters and minimal extraction before being aged in old oak for 15 months. This wine is built to age for 5-10 years.
