2021 Mayer Sangiovese

Made with fruit from Dixon Creek, this perfumed sangiovese has flavours of juicy cherry, earth and dried herb. It is mouth filling and generous with drying tannin. Of course, Timo has managed to put his mark on this classic Tuscan variety. He likes to refer to his Italian varieties as ‘spaghetti wine’, I can picture this being a match made in heaven alongside a bowl of pasta with ragù!
