2021 Mayer Merlot

Vibrant and medium bodied with a lot of upfront flavour. Made with fruit from the St Huberts vineyard on the Valley floor, of course there’s a whole bunch fermentation here followed by some gentle plunging to extract desirable tannin from the merlot skin and stalk. Tart cherry fruit and fully ripe plum are balanced with leafy flavours and fine tannin.
