2021 Bannockburn 1314 a.d Pinot Noir
Offering exceptional value as a sibling label to Bannockburn Vineyards, all fruit comes from the organically farmed estate with vines planted from 1976 to 2007 and crafted by head winemaker Matt Holmes. The vineyard was first founded in the early ‘70s by Stuart Hooper, a successful businessman and passionate wine lover. He was particularly fascinated with the great wines of Burgundy and set his sights on planting pinot noir and chardonnay in Victoria. After much consideration he finally decided to purchase a block of land in Bannockburn and began planting. Today, the vision of Stuart Hooper lives on and the wines have never looked better. Brimming with crunchy dark red fruits, hints of undergrowth and earth; and a strong line of acid and great length.
