2020 Salomon Undhof Weiden Grüner Veltliner

Bert and Gertrude Solomon manage two estates, one in Kremstal Austria and the other in South Australia, splitting their time and expertise between the two. Salomon Undhof is the Austrian half located in the town of Stein on the Danube River. Salomon Undhof is one of the oldest privately owned wineries in Austria, founded in 1792. This stunning grüner is delicate but precise with great drive. Green apple skin and pear flavours, with hints of green herbs and white pepper in the background, citrus and stoney minerality drive the palate home with a long dry finish.
