2019 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Bourgogne Aligote
Sorry, currently out of stock
Often referenced as one of the young rising stars of Burgundy, Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey has become well recognized as one of the greatest winemakers in the world
Coming mostly from vines located in the Hautes Cotes de Beaune (90%) and also in Chassagne Montrachet (10%). All aged in 228 litre barrels and racked and bottled before the 2019 harvest in late August 2019 after 11 months on lees. Strikingly pure and very expressive even in its youth. Light on its feet, with good depth and texture this wine.
"Parcel in Hautes Côtes de Beaune – 50-yo vines of a type with a slightly rosé skin – also 350 l barrels. The only wine with full malo in the range. It will be bottled in January with the St.Aubins. ”That’s a rather forward and perfumed nose. Steely, fresh, a palate that recalls Chablis from style if not flavour. Lots of juicy energy in the finish – super!” burgundy-report.com October 2020
