2019 Even Keel Chardonnay

Although he makes his wines in Mornington’s Polperro, Sam Coverdale is a canny vineyard scout, with his Even Keel wines channelling some of Australia’s best regional expressions.  Among the upper reaches of the Snowy Mountains, high altitude gives this bright chardonnay optimal tension and steely acidity. Perfectly set among mealy lees and toast notes from oak influence come together with textured ripe stone fruit, lemon curd and green melon.
