Summer Mixed Dozen
You have every reason to smile; the weather’s warm, the beer’s cold, the wine’s free flowing, and the beach is calling your name. It’s time to celebrate - and we have plenty of thirst quenching bottles, whatever the festivity.
King Valley prosecco is the perfect bubbly to kick things off, followed by riesling and pinot gris with all the freshness and zing to counter a scorching hot day.
If you’re sitting down to a leisurely lunch, add a bottle of Sicilian catarratto or Tasmanian pinot blanc to the table, and let the afternoon drift away. And for meals that require a touch more attention, perhaps a roast chicken, we have a chardonnay with depth and texture to suit. Skip the sunburn, and partake in a little summer blush by way of pink wine from the Côtes de Provence.
For the reds, nothing too big or overwhelming, we’ll keep it easy breezy for relaxing summer times. A New Zealand pinot noir and Victorian nero d’avola are happily enjoyed on their own. And three bright and juicy European reds are your perfect barbeque companions – a Côtes du Rhône, Rioja and a garnacha blend.
The wait is over, summer is here!
